My family loves dutch babies so when I saw the scrumptious looking dutch baby recipe in this month's issue of Sunset Magazine, I knew I had to make it! It was even better tasting that I had anticipated. The recipe suggests slicing into 4 pieces; however we sliced it into 6 pieces to make it 3 points per serving.
Breakfast: 6 pts
1/2 cup egg whites = 1 pt
3 slices chopped canadian bacon = 1 pt
1 teaspoon coconut oil = 1 pt
1/2 cup chopped red and green bell peppers = 0 pts
1/8 cup sliced onions = 0 pts
1/2 ounce shredded mozzarella cheese = 1 pt
4 sliced basil leaves = 0 pts
1/2 cup Simply Potatoes shredded hash browns = 2 pts
Snack: 3 pts
1/6 Dutch Baby with Lemon Curd = 3 pts
Snack: 3 pts
1 slice Sargento provolone cheese = 2 pts7 almonds = 1 pt
1 cup carrots = 0 pts
Dinner: 11 pts
2/3 cup white rice = 3 pts3 ounces grilled chicken thigh = 4 pts
2/3 cup mixed vegetables = 0 pts
1 cup spinach = 0 pts
1 cup arugula = 0 pts
4 basil leaves = 0 pts
1 tablespoon slivered almonds = 1 pt
1 tablespoon Ken's Lite Apple Cider dressing = 1 pt
