I tend to buy the same old vegetables over and over so I am trying to branch out a little. I usually buy yams and sweet potatoes during the fall, but why not eat them year-round? Yams are a superfood because of their dense nutrients. They contain a great amount of fiber, vitamin b, vitamin c and potassium. They are high in points compared to other veggies. However, I feel a yam is worth it's points because they are: filling, healthy and satisfy my evening sweet tooth!
