Determined Day #188

My iron levels have been extremely low the past 6 months so I am trying different things to increase it.  Recently my friend suggested Post Raisin Bran, as 1 cup provides 60% of your daily iron requirements.  Although it was a delicious treat from my normal egg breakfast, I found myself hungry within an hour and needed a snack. Next time I will pair an egg or two with my bowl of Post Raisin Bran!


Breakfast: 337 calories

1 cup Post Raisin Bran = 187 calories
1/2 cup fat free milk = 45 calories
1 large banana = 105 calories





















Snack: 70 calories

1 hard boiled egg = 70 calories





















Lunch: 382 calories

1 cup butternut squash = 63 calories
1 teaspoon olive oil = 40 calories
3/4 serving Pan Seared Tilapia with Citrus Vinaigrette = 179 calories
1/2 cup cottage cheese = 100 calories





















Dinner: 686 calories 

1/2 cup garbanzo beans = 120 calories 
5 oz baked yam = 215 calories 
1 1/2 cups steamed green beans = 51 calories 
3/4 serving Garlic Honey Ginger Glazed Salmon = 300 calories 




















Today's Total Calories = 1,475
Exercise Earned = 219
Today's Net Calories = 1,256
